Agents Cite New Orleans Woman for Littering in Orleans Parish

Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) enforcement agents cited a New Orleans woman for an alleged littering violation in Orleans Parish on June 5.Agents cited Jenny Bonilla, 33, for gross littering.Agents were on patrol and observed additional litter at the Highway 90 (Chef Mentuer) and Highway 11 intersection in New Orleans East. This intersection is a long standing location for dumping and was previously investigated on May 27.Agents searched the new litter pile that included plastic chairs, paint cans and other household items. Agents found identifying material that was linked to Bonilla.Agents were able to make contact with Bonilla and it was determined that she placed the litter intentionally.Gross littering carries up to a $900 fine, up to 30 days in jail and 16 hours of community service in a litter abatement program.Agent Mason Castello and Sr. Agent Salvador Mangano participated in the case.
